Publishing server settings

To use the QA module, you will need to enable it on your test server – where content is previewed by your users – and on your live servers for each project.

  1. Navigate to the Management Console, click Project Setup ,followed by Publishing Servers.
  2. In the Publishing Servers List for Website screen, click Edit to the far right of the relevant server.
  3. In the new window that appears, check the Enable Quality Assurance box. Click Save.
  4. Repeat the above steps for each server you want to run QA checks on.

Check the server configuration

Once you have enabled QA on the test and live servers, the servers will be listed in the dropdown at the top of the Quality Assurance Summary screen.

We recommend that you allow your first QA scan to complete and review the results before making any of the inline QA settings forced, which could prevent editors submitting pages for approval.

Note: If you have load-balanced live servers, then it is only necessary to enable QA on one of them, as the content is the same on all load-balanced servers.
