Contensis’ workflow is highly customisable. However, most workflows include an approval step. In most cases, an author creates a piece of content and submits it. Then, an approver checks it and decides whether to approve and publish, modify and publish, or decline it.
Other tiered workflows can look like these:
- Single tier: webmaster creates, approves, and publishes directly
- 2 tier: contributor creates or edits – approver amends, rejects, or publishes
- 3 tier: contributor creates or edits – approver accepts, amends, or rejects – Webmaster amends, rejects, or publishes
- Referral: users can forward content on to any other CMS user an unlimited number of times (subject to their permissions)
