Set user group properties

User Group properties in Contensis consist of Admin User, Admin Group and Group Type.

  • Admin User: This allows you to assign an individual user to administer a group, and allows that user, to see the group listed in the Management Console. This permission allows the group admin user to add or remove users from the group, and assign or remove child groups too.

  • Admin Group: This grants the same permissions as mentioned above, but allows all the users assigned to the Admin Group to administer the group.

  • Group Type: Security is the default group type here and the Organisational Unit option is mostly used for the administration of the who's who module.
