Update an existing document

This page will show you through the steps on how to update a document in your Contensis project.

  1. Navigate to the folder your document is located in, press it and select Edit. The Content tab will open in the work area.
  2. From this screen you can now upload a newer version of the document.
  3. Once the new version of the file has been selected, press the Save button.

Updating a file in this way will update the document and it's version history. The file will not be updated on your live site until it has been submitted and approved.
