The HTML compliance report checks that your site fully meets current W3C Markup Validation Service standards. For a full list of the HTML compliance checks in the QA module and their associated codes, see our QA exclusions articles.
Note: If you have any custom development in your system, this could cause issues that Contensis can't prevent – but the QA module will identify them so you can put them right.
HTML compliance summary
This widget shows a percentage of valid and invalid pages in date order for all completed QA scans. The traffic light system works as follows:
- Green = more HTML compliance since the last report
- Amber = no change
- Red = less HTML compliance since the last report
Common HTML errors
This widget displays HTML error descriptions and the number count of pages affected. Click View Report for a detailed report of any errors, with links to affected webpages.
URLs for pages with HTML errors are listed in descending order. Click View Report to drill down to the pages with the highest numbers of errors, with links to affected webpages.
