This article will show you how to insert a web control into a page to display a user profile form on your website. The user profile form can be set to be editable, and accessible to anyone logged into your site that is using website authentication and security.
- Right click on a folder and select New Content. The Create New Content window will appear.
- Click Web Page and then select your standard web page template, click Close.
- A new page will be created, give the page a title (eg. User-profile) and click Save.
- In the editable area of the page, right click to bring up the contextual menu. Select Insert Webcontrol and make any changes needed to the web control settings. Click Save, then Submit & Approve.

Show Contact Fieldset
This checkbox determines whether or not a fieldset will be displayed for users to enter contact information. The fieldset includes Telephone number, Fax Number, Mobile number and Email fields.
Show Avatar Fieldset
This checkbox determines whether or not a browse button will be displayed for users to upload a gif, jpg or png avatar image. Image filesize must be less than 2MB. Enabling this setting will also display a Delete Image checkbox for the user on the rendered form.
Show Photo Fieldset
This checkbox determines whether or not a browse button will be displayed for users to upload a gif, jpg or png profile image. Image filesize must be less than 2MB. Enabling this setting will also display a Delete Image checkbox for the user on the rendered form.
Show Address Fieldset
This checkbox determines whether or not a fieldset will be displayed for users to enter address information. The fieldset includes Address 1, Address 2, Town, County / Province / State, Postcode and Country fields.
Show Account Fieldset
This checkbox determines whether or not a fieldset will be displayed for users to enter account information. The fieldset includes Username, Nickname, Language and Change Password fields.
Show Biography Fieldset
This checkbox determines whether or not a text field will be displayed for users to enter biographical information.
Show Messenger Fieldset
This checkbox determines whether or not a fieldset will be displayed for users to enter Messenger Services details.The fieldset includes AIM, ICQ, GoogleTalk, Skype, Jabber and WindowsLive fields.
Show Work Fieldset
This checkbox determines whether or not a field will be displayed for users to enter work information.
Show Job Role
This checkbox determines whether or not a field will be displayed for users to enter job role information.
Show Personal Fieldset
This checkbox determines whether or not a range of fields will be displayed for users to enter personal information. The fieldset includes the following fields:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Gender
- Date of Birth
- Relationship Status
- Website
- Blog Url
- Location
- Company Name
- Job Title
- Job Role
Show General Fieldset
This checkbox determines whether or not options will be displayed for users to indicate their preferences for the following fields: Use plain textbox for forum posts, Show profile to public, Time Zone, Daylight Savings.
Show User Expertise
This checkbox determines whether or not a field will be displayed for users to enter expertise information.
Show User Interests Fieldset
This checkbox determines whether or not a field will be displayed for users to enter their interests.

Enable update of email address when it is also the username.
