ZenHub houses documentation to support you if you’re using Contensis Classic. Contensis Classic includes our WYSIWYG and templating features. If you’re working with a newer version of Contensis, is your go-to place to find anything Contensis-related when building with content types.

QA permissions and roles

There are two default global user group roles preset in Contensis for you to build on as you set user management policies for the Quality Assurance (QA) module.

QA administrator

The permissions for this high level user role allow users in the group to view QA reports and set up QA scans.

QA moderator

Any user in this group will have override permission on submitting content that does not meet the quality standard set at project level.

If you have configured QA to check all pages before they are submitted, and then submit a web page for approval, you will see a Checking Quality message. If any content has not met the QA criteria, members of the QA Moderators Group will be shown a screen allowing them to override the criteria and submit the page anyway.

This can be useful if you want to gradually deploy QA across your organisation without too much disruption. As an example, you may want to add all users into this group in the short term to ensure that they can still publish content to the web while educating users about the QA standards you are trying to meet.
