contensis:index tag

In master pages, we’ve added support for a <contensis:index></contensis:index> tag. In legacy aspx templates, you’d have to wrap any item you wanted to be removed from search results in a <contensis:noindex> tag – think: navigation / headers / footers.

In master pages, the template furniture is not added to the search index by default, negating the need for the noindex tag. Placeholder content is automatically indexed.

Now subtemplate furniture can be indexed by adding <contensis:index></contensis:index>, providing template developers control without adding a load of unnecessary markup.
